St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church

Thankfully there are good people in the world who take their life mission very seriously.  The pastor and members at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church are those people.  The church is truly passionate about their goals:  to encourage awareness of their church approach and its studies, but also to provide charitable and educational services to the Sacramento (Oak Park) community.  To equip themselves to spread their message and training within their church and within an ethnically diverse and economically disadvantaged area, the St. Paul congregation turned to Snader & Associates.

In addition to weekly worship, the church’s brand new Family Life Center is the heart of the growing congregation’s activities.  Housing 12 classrooms, a banquet hall, conference space, racquetball courts, a weight room, kids’ activity room and a full basketball court, the FLC is a recreational and meeting facility designed to be the centerpiece of St. Paul’s community outreach.

The mini-arena is equipped with a 16,000 lumen Christie projector and a 25-foot wide screen by Da-Lite – one of the largest in the state capital – to serve easily as a fully functional theater.  The convertible facility (with pull-out bleachers and stage for artistic presentations) boasts a 48-channel Allen & Heath mixer and an AMX ‘one touch’ panel controller, coupled with multiple Shure wireless microphone systems to deliver state-of-the-art video and sound to an audience of up to 300 people at a time.

During the project, Snader designed and integrated systems throughout the center including over 20 flat-screens – including 4 plasma displays in the Kids’ Room, 2 for TV and educational purposes, and 2 for video games and fun!  Currently, the team is working to install a distributed cable system (4 boxes with 1 channel each, distributed to 20 monitors) to provide video conferencing throughout the Center.  Audio will be provided through more than 60 JBL speakers.

The Oak Park community and surrounding vicinity has a proud tradition of productive citizens, schools, health facilities, businesses, public services, community organizations, recreational and religious organizations.  Snader & Associates is honored to be able to assist the Family Life Center, and the St. Paul/Oak Park Community Outreach Program (one of the oldest such programs in the area), to continue their mission of providing valuable and essential services to their neighbors.
